About Us
An abundant life, so that we may have it in abundance...
An abundant life is a Lithuanian non-governmental organization founded in 2020 by youth leader Robinas Mubarikas, inspired by his personal experiences and a desire to change attitudes toward suicide and mental health. However, starting in 2025, Robinas entrusted the development of the organization to Judita Sajauskaitė, an energetic and creative colleague whose heart also burns with the desire for Lithuanians to see even more clearly how abundant life is and can be. The organization’s name means “a full, meaningful life”—a value we want to promote in society.
The idea of “abundant life” is also inspired by Christian values, which emphasize compassion, hope, and care for one another—values that guide our work and keep us on track.
Our goal is to promote open and safe discussions about mental health, reduce stigmatizing beliefs, and build a community where everyone feels heard, valued, and supported. We want people to understand that life is precious, and that help and support are available to everyone.
How we do it:
We share information and discuss mental health challenges and suicide prevention, thereby reducing the fear and stigma associated with talking about difficult experiences.
It organizes training sessions, discussions, and hands-on activities for young people, educators, community members, and professionals.
We create safe spaces to share experiences, find support, and build emotional resilience.
We believe that change begins with open dialogue, with the understanding that no one should have to face their pain alone, and with collaboration that allows us to grow together.
Mission
GAUSUS GYVENIMAS promotes open dialogue about suicide prevention and mental health by creating safe spaces for young people through projects, hands-on activities, and community events.
